Cracked my last bottle. This is drinking perfectly. It's still peaking at the 3-hour mark after decant. Air is your friend with this one, your patience will be rewarded. Really good stuff.

This Priorat is drinking quite nicely in its teenage years. I agree with Frank Murray III that it is reminiscent of a smooth rich Napa Bordeaux blend. Visca Catalunya!

Excellent wine, balanced and enjoyable. Brought to a Spanish wine tasting and emptied early.

Concentrated and fruit forward. Very dark. Like FMIII said it could pass for California in style. Nice mocha note mid palate, rich black and blue fruit.

Big wine here, reminds me of some of the more richer styled CA stuff that is around these parts. Spicy, richer styled, with tannin underpinning the blue and purple fruit.

Wow. This is a gorgeous Priorat and it is still young. Dark in color. Raspberry, cherry, spice cake, and scorched earth. Tobacco and aged oak aromas. Firm acidity. I love it that this wine is so fresh and pure for its age, when it could have been overripe, bretty, and porty. Bravo! Good schist!

Fantastisk prestation!

Consistent with previous note. 3 hours of decant did wonders in making it approachable. Great with grilled lamb chops on a summer night.

Purple. Expressive fruit driven nose of cherry and blackberry. Some weight in the mouth. Cherry, blackberry, spice, turning distinctly vanilla sweet on the back showing some of the wood treatment. Plenty of structure, probably will continue to age well.

nose - dark berry, earth mouth - full fruit punch (the left hook to the jaw kind) while being bone dry; crisp acidity battles it out with the tannins to the end making this an interesting and relatively balanced drink. Has that classic priorat minerality which i dig. True to place. Hold last bottle for 5 more years to see what it does...

Slightly heat-damaged with a foul nose. With some small blindness, we still managed to finish the btl. Obviously, this is a fully packed and elegant wine, well worthy of its praise. We hope our 2nd and final btl will be pristine. Planned ~2017. We served soy and garlic pork cutlet with tomato sauce and squash-burgers plus three kinds of seasonal salads from Sogo. Lovely and far more open knit than some other 2004s. My wife, who drinks mostly white, took one taste and asked 'What is that?!' I love Spanish wines and this one is very tasty. It is great upon opening, then does tighten just a bit after a few minutes.

A nose of dark fruits and spice, dark purple in color. A full bodied red blend with blackberry, currants, cola and coffee with a spicy finish, good stuff.

Sediment in the bottle, so rested it before opening. Wonderful aroma, medium tannins, still fruit forward. Happy to have another couple bottles.

Opaque purple in color; after several hours of air its tannins were still gripping; dark fruit, molasses aromas, long spicy finish. (35% Garnacha, 30% Syrah, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Merlot)

Deep purple, medium to full body. Some persistent barnyard funk on the nose that did not completely blow off even after more than 2 hours in decanter. Aromas of cocoa, dark fruit, smoke, and obvious alcohol. A little bit of a brute on the palate: dark fruit flavors joust with tannins and alcohol, with no clear winner through the medium finish. At 15% ABV this is no wallflower, but the fruit comes through enough to make it complex and enjoyable. …

Very dark purple. Nose of dark chocolate, leather and flowers. Tastes of dark chocolate cherries, with mineral hints and a lavender/flower aspect. An awesome bottle of wine!

A complex wine! smell: brown sugar, chocolate and cherry. Taste: rich dark fruit flavor, black licorice, vanilla, earth tones and oak, a hint of cotton candy and mint on the finish.

nose - black cherry, licorice, smoke, stone mouth - rich dark fruit, slightly sweet tinged dark berry midpalate, broad tannins intermixed with acidic pucker on the long finish. will try the other half of the bottle tomorrow see if it opens up a little. --- at 24 hours wine has full vigour, perhaps it has integrated a little bit but overall i'm not sure it has changed that much. This could be a long term ager.
