The nose reveals, dark floral fruits interlaced with gorgeous spice. Blackberries, dark cherries, haunting blueberries, black plum, black raspberries, dark rich soil, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, limestone, crushed rock powder and amazing blue and purple florals. This is a very modern, full bodied and powerful pinot. Definitely not for the Burgundian crowd. A huge core of black cherries, strawberries, a hint of dark chocolate and some forest floor. Full bodied, with a big concentrated and flavor filled mid pallet of dark red fruit, this wine is opulent and sexy, but lacks the nuance and sophistication I would ideally like to see in a pinot. Finishes quite long.

Chateau Boswell : Once again, I concur with CRISTAL’s on-point description of this wine. Much more modern indeed, especially in comparison to the Sun Chase served before it.
