PnP but got better with 15 min of air. Flavors of strawberry, red grape, white peach, watermelon rind and bitter herbs. Clean crisp finish, if short. Better than I remembered. Delicious Provence rose. Agree with others time to drink the 21s now.

We find this delightful. Subtle breadth of flavors intermingled and in balance. If others have a better rose at this price point, I'd like to hear about it!

Serious Ros (Crouch End Cellars) : A tasty quaffer, probably a step up from your standard Provencal ros and true to its style. Yellow peach, strawberry, some white pepper and vanilla. There's a touch of bitterness on the finish which I found brought a sense of welcome seriousness but really it's a drinker not a thinker.

So you thought you knew about Ros? (Crouch End Cellars) : Pale pink, not quite the in-vogue light grey, but you get the idea. Slight spritz, really fresh and delicious. As a group we talked about how it was quite difficult to write a meaningful tasting note about this style of Ros, at which point one of us piped up that they'd already written "lovely" three times and we were on wine #2...... Anyway, this was lovely. Nice balance, nice …

Posh ross - 2024 selection (Crouch End Cellars) : Crisp and peachy on the nose, with a touch - fortunately not too much - of pear drop. Fairly neutral on the palate, but with a tempting green streak. Clean, crisp, almost steely finish. A good example of type... now, where's the pool? 12.5%

A simple but well made rose. Nose cherry and strawberry. Mineral there and acid. Easy going but fun yet not insipid. Not complex and finish not long but pleasant.

I'm generally not a fan of Rose but decided to try this one as it was recommended and I had never tried a French Rose before. I've never had a wine I had to work so hard to coax the flavours out of. I thought at the start the wine was maybe too cold and it was dulling my palate. It did get better over time but overall it seemed very muted.

Medium orange colour. Medium and youthful nose with the orange, peach, strawberry, lemon lavender and wet stone. Medium taste of oranges, peach, strawberry, lemon and wet stone. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Mediterranean Ros. Drink now. Goes well with fish or poultry.

I have drunk a large number of bottles of Triennes Rose over the years as it is a Garagiste regular offering. It is reliable and great sipping Rose, especially on a lovely summers day. I marked it as 89 because on the grand scale of things it is not at great as some others, while I know many will find it wonderful. So I rank Provence Rose's really against each other.

I usually don't drink ros in the middle of winter but the case of Triennes was there tempting me. This is my go-to ros in the summertime. It's strawberries, flowers, and springtime in a bottle but (most importantly) without the bubble gum, fruity tooty flavors so common in southern French ros (that a friend attributes to global warming and overripe grapes). It's not as profound as Domaines Ott, but it's also not $60 a bottle.

Rose and sausages (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street) : a touch of savoury underpin, meaty with muted red fruit, touch of spice, quite bitter on the palate which rather dominates. Nah.

Outstanding rose. Copper-pink color in the glass with very present aromas of strawberries and raspberries on the nose. For a Rose, this wine has a medium bodied mouthfeel with luscious flavor notes of strawberries, raspberries and lemon. Smooth lingering finish. This wine could well accompany a light to medium dinner meal (not just lunch).

Decided to make some frose with the 1.5L bottle, so grabbed a taste before the rest of it went into the freezer. A fitting end for what was supposed to be an outdoor birthday picnic wine. Overripe raspberries, dark cherries, white flower. Short body, sharp acidity throughout the finish, ends with orange pith. Flavor profile opens up as it gets warmer, giving it a chewiness. Medium-minus intensity, medium-plus acidity. Okay to pair with food, but I would mainly drink this …

Pale pink. Citrus and strawberry nose, on the palate strawberries, round mouthfeel, citrus finish. Decent rose, lacking the crispness of youth. Tasty nonetheless. A perfectly fine, inexpensive rose for everyday use. I could buy more of this, but I want to try the '17 vintage first.

Pale salmon color with a nose of red berries and white floral notes. Tart palate with citrus notes obscuring red fruits. Quite tasty; paired nicely with a simple salted salmon as the acidity helped cut the fat of the fish. Blend: 62% Cinsault, 17% Syrah, 16% Grenache, 5% Merlot; 12.5%abv.

Pale salmon color, with a nose that still shows some coiling; the palate confirms as much. Combines a welcome freshness of place with a steely, lightly tart light>medium-bodied palate presence. Average persistence, with enough structure to drink through next year with no problem. Just 12,5% abv., this is delightful as always; may add a touch of weight in the coming months. Solid companion to food, and/or on its own if you enjoy light, dry, delicately-fruited wines. Easily recommended+ Screw-cap, served …

Enjoyable example of light, crisp, Provencal rose. Classic flavors of watermelon, cantaloupe, orange peel, and a bit of strawberry, with a touch of herbs. Certainly not the intensity or concentration of flavor as some of the better (and more expensive) roses, but for the price a very nice value and quite enjoyable.
