I really love Chardonnay. Is there anything it can’t do? It allows itself to be shaped by place and winemaker like few others. Honestly, I don’t know what speaks loudest here since I haven’t tried either Macon La Roche-Vineuse or Simon Faure (his first vintage) before, but the result feels like a very personal and unique expression of this fantastic grape to me.
