Last bottle. Wish it wasn’t. :( Really enjoyed this!..and so an extra point.

(What I noticed…or paid closest attention to, was a sense of richness and apparent oak aromas but without any butteriness/diacetyl and some nice acidity.)

Leo’s wines are undoubtedly “food wines”, with more overt characteristics on the nose than on the palate. Meaning, you can’t fully appreciate how amazing they are, by just popping, pouring & sipping. For this reason, they are not crowdpleasers, per se. However, pair them with the right bite/course/meal and you’ll be wowed.
