Some complexity here but lacking a bit of intensity with quite a short finish.

Golden colour and a lovely minerally nose. This is still very fresh, obviously well stored (thank you Wine Society), with some gently fading stone fruit and a hint of honey. This has lasted very well, and is highly enjoyable now, but I can't see it improving from here - drink now.

Deep gold. Toast, lemon, honey, maybe slight smoke? Medium-full bodied, slightly waxy, fresh acidity. Very good.

Profoundly luminous amber golden colour with tinges of green. Extraordinary nose - strange and mysterious, like bay hales and cheese (!) Acidic and dry. Tarte tatin, cashew nuts, pears. Turmeric and fenugreek. But fresh and irresistibly eccentric. Superb.

Golden yellow in color, the wine offers a honeysuckle and citrus character, with a bite of green apple in the finish. Fully mature, the wine requires drinking.

Vibrant beautiful blonde colour, light/medium body. Lovely hit of physalis, and baby kiwi on the nose. Same on the the palette, with a hint of gooseberry thrown in. Great acidity to go with it. Little bit rough - alcohol can dominate the later taste - but still pretty decent.

Alluring nose of burnt caramel and wood. Mouthfilling to start with with lots of promise. Founders at mid palate and and fizzles out at the finish. Ironically it all came together when I poured this last thimbleful! I will decant the next bottle, let it breath and see what's happens.

Pamplemousses (léger) ,pommes vertes, finale qui s'estompe rapidement je trouves.Une bonne aciditée. Pour le même prix (54$) il y a beaucoup mieux à mon avis.

Golden color. Medium body, and long finish. Apricots and nectarine taste prevail. Slightly sweet but overpowered by the powerful acidity. I would have scored this higher if it weren't for the acidity.

This is the second graves blanc that I hv tasted but it'd not the best blanc that I like, like another white wine from graves that I hv tasted before, on the nose, it's full of smell of apricot and on the palate, it's very full bodied and with a lot of apricot, vanilla and flora taste, I think it's a bit too strong I'm taste for me and it's not the usual blanc that I love, tasted it with …

While not really oxidized, this wine is past its prime. Deep golden color, full in the mouth with the taste of a wine that has seen better days. Drinkable, but borderline flawed, especially in the light of other more favorable impressions. Dubious at best.

Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux 2009 (Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto, ON) : Differing from the other whites in character, big citrus profile. Good firm finish like there is a heavy tannin balance to bring things together.

This is a very painful TN to write. I failed to protect this wine from the heat in the summer of 1997 and when I looked at it again in autumn, the colour had turned two shades darker. When I purchased it at Christie's in Amsterdam in 1993, it looked even better than the bottle tasted in 1994 (better level, lighter colour). It was still a good drink when I opened it today, but I will never know its real …

Medium buttercup yellow, golden sheen; amazing bouquet, roses and violets, soft, grapy, hint of sweetness; wonderfully ripe, rich, calm, very juicy, perfect balance, concentrated, seamless; fabulous honeyed finish, great length. Fantastic.
