Very good bottle, old world in style, well balanced, smooth texture and nuanced flavors.

I live in the region, went out with the wife for some local tastings and stopped at Jamesport Vineyards. Tasted an array of their wines, then paid the extra dollar to try this one because it was a Gold Medal Winner, yada yada yada..... Very nice bright fruit flavors, but not overbearing. Some hints of spice or anise. Smooth fine tannins make the wine very enjoyable right now.
