A more full bodied rose than I anticipated, but was a very refreshing treat on a hot day. Also more complex than I thought, making it a great match for a lot of foods. A good all purpose bbq wine or for sitting on the porch.

Very nice for the price. Better when not completely chilled (more expressive). Another nice Eric Solomon parcel from Last Bottle.

Pretty, light strawberry in color, tight aromas of wild strawberries and cherry, with an initial palate that is restrained and closed. With some air and warmth, however, blooms into a wonderfully dry and food-friendly Rose, shoing great acidity and perfect for a hot afternoon on the patio.

Appearance: Clear, pretty liquid ruby. Nose: Clean, berries, cotton candy. Palate: Dry,starts with a whisper of rock sugar quickly followed by warm and ripe raspberries and blackberries and a touch of brambles. Good finish length. Screw top. 13% abv. (D 6, F 6; Pine, MSW, ES)

Tasted along with four other roses in the store. Was the best of the five, so brought it home. At home, just not a great bottle... bitter on the palate & just not that pleasant. The reason I don't like roses, summarized in one bottle. I just don't get it.

The bleed from the other wine. Spicy red cherry fruit on the nose. Works well at $9.99 if you like more extracted rose.
