This was better after air for me. Upon open, maybe 89, after air 90-91. Fairly extracted dark red fruit, some mineral notes and earthiness. More extracted than i typically like, but nicely made after air brings more balance. All based on night 1.

Great wine for Thanksgiving dinner. A bit sour, almost cranberry tasting, but notes of black fruit as well. Finishes well.

Needed time (2 hours) to open up, but at the end it really showed ripe red berry and some chocolate flavors, with spice and great acidity and balance. Wonderful with Sockeye salmon.
