We aerated this baby first.... Nice deep color dark berry notes on the nose- first sip quite woody then black berry cassis notes. Did I ever say I adore Thirthy Bench wines?! This is simply a perfect Merlot, I bet it could age some more but I do not have anymore in my cellar.... returning to my glass now... !

Still alive but starting its decline. Deep ruby colour. A bit of blackberries on the nose, earthy flavours on the mouth.

On the finish a spicy / …

I knew this would be a good wine right from the odour off the end of the cork. Good cherry/berry/light musty. The nose was very pleasant, soft, roundish. On entry this medium bodied wine spilled across the tongue evenly in rich flavour, not too acidic, tannins well-integrate, good balance, some complexity. A little more hint of french oak than there should be dropped the rating below 90. Went very well with medium bodied cheeses, smoked gruyere, mango stilton, light salami. …

Disappointing compared to other wines from this producer. Mellow but pedestrian. Pleasant table wine i suppose but not mich flavour or complexity to me. Wouldn't buy again
