Franchino Marco Gattinara Lo Spanna

Stood up about 5 weeks in advance, then double decanted off the copious sediment in the morning, leaving a pinkish-red wine. Very cherry aromas. Cherry, tar and dried rose on the palate. Pretty delightful with a light white truffle risotto. Excellent.
