the nose has improved but palate remains quite rough with coarse tannin running the show still. I'll hold my final bottle for at least a a couple more years but I am not sure this has the depth to survive the tannin. Feeling as though the over did it in the cellar on this. Less would have been more

Black cherry allspice/clove on the nose with nice black cherry, chocolate and clove spice notes on the palate. Medium + tannin and medium finish.

Color: Medium ruby. Nose: A little shy, moderately intense, sweet red stone fruits with nice floral notes (cherry blossom, rose). Clean. Lovely. Pal: Medium body. 13% alc. Decent intensity of Gevrey cherry and spice flavors. Good acidity. Slightly tart on the finish. A little one-dimensional right now. Could definitely benefit with 5-7 more years of age; that would bring more aromatic complexity. Utimately lacks the complexity and concentration of 1er Cru G-C. But nice value. And lovely (essentially) village level …

cellar tracker says to drink 2023 but I think it is wonderful now. Beautiful cherry color with bright strawberry and cherry notes, medium body, well balanced, and pairs with seafood and french cheeese

Medium ruby color. Funky on the nose initially but settled down soon to floral red cherries with some wood and heat. Dry, bright acidity, rather taut tannins, red cherries, raspberries, and earth/gravel. Medium body, good balance, medium finish.

I may have gone into this a bit hyped up from the 2015 version but this was not nearly at that level today. Oak is pretty overwhelming at this point. Needs several years to begin to be accessible. It's chambolle roots are down in there though
