VC tasting. Room temperature (approx 22 degrees) far too high for a pinot noir tasting. Bright and elegant nose with ripe cherries and raspberries. Very rustic, with acidity poking out quite a bit. Medium bodied, fine tannins. Singing one note. Quite foursquare at the moment - would like to try this again in proper tasting conditions.

Burgs About Town; 9/28/2012-9/29/2012 (Various Purveyors, San Francisco) : Pale. Quite perfumed and herbaceous. Light with black fruit and some earth. Good acidity, nicely balanced but falls off on the finish. Not bad for the low $20s price range.
