Drank over 2 days. Menthol on the nose. On the palate, coating mouthfeel with meaty, syrah-like flavors, tart red fruit, leather, mocha, and lots of mouth-coating fine sweet tannins. This wine is a joy to drink. Too bad it's my last bottle. This has not changed much at all from the last bottle 19 months ago. This should last a long time in the cellar and continue to drink beautifully.

Dark black garnet opaque in the glass. Aromas of caramel oak over black fruit. Slight hay and menthol, but not quite weedy. Medium bodied with chocolate and dark fruit on the palate with a tangy caramel finish. Tastes fairly expensive. Pretty good.

My wife took this to one of her meetings. This wine was enjoyed by all who partook.

Loved this again. Good tart blackberry fruit, some tobacco and chocolate with good structure and mouthfeel.

Consistent with last bottle. Excellent Malbec -- great fruit but not overdone. Nice.

Dusty blackberries with plums. Medium bodied. Good intensity of fruit and a good finish. Bright acidity. Cola, root beer and cocoa. Nice balance. A little herbal on the finish.

Fantastic Malbec. Nice bright fruit, smooth texture with mouth coating fine, soft tannins on the finish. No detectable oak, just pure fruit but not "fruity". Very balanced. Went very well with Brazilian food. Great QPR at $15. This was the favorite Malbec of the night that included Achaval Ferrer's standard bottling, Catena and Catena Alta.

Needs a 2+ hour decant. Deep, dark purple that you can't see through. Poopy blackberries. An old world nose. Almost a little vegetal. Violets and pine cones. Medium bodied with asian spice, black fruits and a touch of sweetness but with plenty of acidity creating a nice balance. Even better on Day 2. All the funk is gone. Elegence and power combined.
