Very nice. A lighter Pinot and ready to drink

Slight bricking apparent. Distinctive vegetal and stewed strawberry-rhubarb notes, meaty and tangy sanguine. Funky smokey tomato skins with a medium-ish finish. Strange profile, not my favorite, drink now.

Not the best of the Anthill line for that year, but pretty good, nonetheless. A bit of a sipper as it throws some heat, but that quickly blows off in the glass. Raspberries, red apple, dried date fruit, white pepper, with some green overtones on the finish. Drinking well now, and IMHO unlikely to get better.

Prickly acidity, fruit a bit too ripe. Don’t think this will get any better. A bit disappointed tbf.

I really enjoyed this. No mistaking this as a Sonoma pinot but there's nothing wrong with that. A fuller wine but with good balance and complexity. Dark fruit, plum, spices, cola and a reasonable abv at 13.5.%.

Well, the cork was stained almost to the top, which doesn’t bode well for aging future bottles. Good thing this is my last one. Nose was pretty funky, like a foot. Still, on the palate, the acidity was more upfront that in past bottles, balancing out the overly sweet strawberry notes. This was the best of the batch for sure.

Reasonably tasty, but my opinion since my last bottle hasn't changed: missing complexity and not a great QPR at the $37 I paid.

Strawberry jam. Wonder how these guys bcames so popular making wine that tastes like smuckers.

30 min decant. A bit thin, not much depth/complexity for the price paid and not a great QPR at $36. Primary notes of cherry and strawberry with a restrained and short finish. Decent pinot, but not one to get excited about. Was hoping that with 2 years of rest after purchase this would be a very nice bottle; but the wait to try it didn't really pay off and I don't think more time in the cellar will make this …

I like what I have tasted from Anthill Farms! This combines the sunny strawberries and raspberries with more savoury notes of violet, spicy notes of black tea and herbs, a slight touch of volatility adds som welcome rusticity and acid and tannins are just enough to make it food friendly and offering some resistance while still being so drinkable on its own.

This wine definitely has a bit of a barnyard smell when you first smell what’s in the glass, but, as with some Pinot Noirs, that’s not to dissuade you. The first taste is bright, sparkling, fruity with berries, strawberries, a little hint of sweet tobacco, and flowers. It leaves you with a good peppery after, with some earthiness and berry tannic dryness. Very tasty wine that, frankly, takes a little bit of getting used to.

Tart cherry, strawberry too. Most of it;s pleasant characteristic qualities are on the nose and mid palate. Somewhat muted finish. Very good QBR just under 40.00. Would buy again.

Surprisingly robe and getting a bit of alcohol heat. Might be the biggest tasting AHF woe I’ve ever had. Vintage?

Tangy cherry dominates the palate. Ethereal, some floral notes. Finish decent. Enjoyable.

Tasted @ ACME. Traditional nose, cherry, light-medium body, strawberry, moderate length, floral finish. This is a good, solid PN, but not a standout.

Really enjoyed this very crowd-pleasing basic Sonoma Coast version, showing rich strawberry-cherry palate, balancing acidity and a medium-long tasty finish. Can't wait to try their single vineyard versions, but this one showed some nice complexity and great value for the price point.

Pinot Noirs (3-CA & 3-OR) (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA) : "Our frt comes from 2 of the coolest, most coastal parts of this appellation: the low coast, W of Sebastopol on the edge of the Petaluma Gap; and the high coast, the 1st or 2nd ridge inland from the ocean farther to the N. These sites are united by the direct influence of the Pacific‘s cool, marine air, delaying ripening well into Oct." N: Closed; Ripe, dk frts …

Mild, light cherry, not bad but not a lot going on.

Pleasant aromas of forest berries, with yoghurt associations (malo). Some mushroom lurking there as well. Very easy to like. Fresh and with decent length. A bit too expensive perhaps.

CA pinot done in a brighter, lighter style. Wouldn’t really say “Burgundian”, as there is still a good amount of sweet-ish fruit. Super easy drinking in a great way. Not sure it adds up to the $37 I paid, but otherwise totally enjoyed it.

Aromatic nose of strawberries, dusty roads, California bay, a hint of spice. Intense fruit on the palate with great acid clarity. Lovely. 50 + 16 + 17 + 8 = 91.
