F'ing Premoxed. Had this years ago at CDT event in Steamboat and it was great. This one was at a low level of PM compared to some but still shot.

To me I prefer demoiselles section of Chevy. Just seems more minerality less fatty. Slightly Honeyed waxy nose. Expansive clean with good fresh acids. Not very much concentration of flavors light. Hallow on the finish. Lacks depth. Leaves you wanting more weight on the tongue.

Gorgeous golden color. White peach, pear, minerals and oak. Great with and without food. Probably not going to improve but should last through 2015.

Annual Burgundy Kick Off (RN 74, San Francisco) : Darker than the 2000 Jadot but still completely sound. Compared to that wine, toasty, relatively heavy and oily, and honeyed. I much preferred the finesse of the Jadot.

Chevalier-Montrachet (My home - Chicago IL) : This wine showed the most improvement over the course of the evening, ending up just behind the ’96 Bouchard for our consensus favorite. At first, minerality and oak were more dominant than fruit. But great flavors of apple and pear came out that were incredibly integrated. Very nice aromatics. Very good now but I’m not planning to open my next bottle for another five years.

Unbleached cork, spinning capsule. Nose of stone and citrus with promise of substantial weight and viscosity. Medium weight flavors of citrus and pears that try to blossum in the presence of marvelous mouthcoating texture, with a mineral backbone in the midpalate that supports a very very extended finish that included good complexity and layering. Balance is exellent, but the fruit is still very wound up, and it must be a kind of baby fat that provides pleasure on the eary …
