Unexpected aroma – I’m getting lychee, honeysuckle and other white flowers, a mineral/wet stone thing, tangerine peel, honey, and kiwi. The palate delivers a wonderful texture, with plenty of mineral, and a long finish with fresh pear, a persistent and pleasant bitterness, and lingering florals. Just a delight, a thoroughly volcanic wine that doesn’t just reek of sulfur.
