- Aromas of tea, black pepper, raspberry, blackberry and tobacco. It's balanced and has flavours of chocolate, smokey, blackberry and black currant with a full body. Satin-Like texture with a short finish - Decanted two hours. Delicious with winter gumbo. White tea and macerated black and red fruit on the nose. Wine at apex now. Velvet texture.

- Fast forming legs and aromas of cedar, raspberry and tobacco. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry, black currant, fig and black pepper with a medium/full body. Round texture with a medium finish - Blueberry pie and slight pencil shaving nose.

Very interesting wine. Rich, almost to the point of being a bit viscous. Deep, full aroma with prominent flavors of red fruits mixed with charcoal and leather. A bit light in the acid department so it tastes a bit heavy, but very satisfying nonetheless.

Medium purple in color. Nice nose of red berries, some slight notes of leather. Red berries continue onto the well balanced mouth, spice with hints of spearmint. Medium velvet finish. Overall a very nice bottle with structure and spice. Very good QPR.

- Brick color with medium forming legs and aromas of cedar. It's lacking fruit and has flavours of black pepper, bell pepper and tobacco with a medium/full body. Leathery texture with a medium finish - This vintage is not as great as some of the past vintages, however, it still has true P. Sirah traits, including a great nose of cedar, pencil shavings and spice. the finish is all P. Sirah with good spice, texture and grip.

Walker Trade Show (Newport) : New packaging, new winemaker, new everything. Unfortunately, change isn't always good. This is a softer, almost candied Petite Sirah. Tastes rather generic and in my opinion is a huge step down from the great Petite's I've become used to from this estate.
