E took it to dinner with her "gal pals," and apparently wasn't wowed by it. Said it was "okay."

Burgundian in style, has nose of mud and tea. Medium body with light tannins, palate of dark berries, cola and dirt. Consistent finish that lingers on for awhile.

This is definitely a more elegant wine, it is light to light medium bodied with a light ruby color to it, this wine's alcohol is 14.1%. It has aromas of framboise, strawberries, milk chocolate and some floral aromas. It tastes of red berries, vanilla, cherries and spices. An excellent PN for the money, it is drinking good now, but decanting time is recommended. It should be an excellent wine that will improve at least for 3 to 5 more years.

Taste at Elysian. Definitely fruit driven showing little bit of earth but not too much funk. Medium bodied with some underlying black pepper spice. Well extracted. Pretty good, but a little steep in price.
