Tasted in parallel with the Pinot Noir from Ca Barun. This wine has a deep ruby color and reminds me of some American Pinot Noirs. The smell is very typical PN and I guess I would have guessed this quite easy in a blind tasting. I find strawberries, plum and an underlaying minerality that is so pleasant. Burgundy by way of Piemonte, but that’s the point, right? (Or is it Piemonte by way of Burgundy?) Either way, lots to love here. It started with a funky nose, but that dissipated pretty quickly. Over three days this wine exhibited dark and red fruit, excellent acid and plenty of spice.

Gianluca Colombo (Segni di Langa: Gianluca Colombo) : Took an age to open up: a dark, muscular Pinot Noir. For en strålende italiensk Pinot! P&P og litt for kald ga den ikke så mye, utover syrligheten. Men med noen timer luft og 16 - 17 grader kom hele pinot-parfymeriet for full musikk! Burgundske rødbærstoner av markjordbær og bringebær, absolutt, men denne fremstår mer syrlig og juicy, med syrlige kirsebær i tillegg. PnP, skarp lukt som reduseres raskt og åpner opp så vidt med litt parfyme. Fin fruk med sveitsiske blomster urter, balanse og syre. Ok og litt utypisk, men ikke på 93 p som Nattverden. 1 dag i flaske: skarpere i dag kirsebær med mynte
