This wine aged nicely! Nose was all dark fruit and flavors followed with ripe plum and black cherry. The tannis were reserved with a nice finish of beautiful dark fruit. The finish had that lovely minty essence of the eucalyptus trees the grapes grew next to. A beautiful wine which aged perfectly!!

Simple, fruity because little in the way of tannins remain. Nice aromatics. From a 3L, so a bit surprising how advanced this is.

Blackberry but heat and unbalanced, little depth and lacking elegance and length.

Lots of cherry. Complimented grilled meat exceptionally well. Down to my last two bottles, wish I had more.

Wine with Friends (Ann's, Avondale, PA) : Black fruits with licorice, tabacco, and a hint of bell pepper. nice balance of acid, fruit and tannin. I like this.

Exceptional cabernet sauvignon! Dark purple in color, smooth, velvety. Only 14 barrels made-- glad I was able to get a bottle! Tasted with other high cost/rated wines-- one of the favorites amongst the group.

didn't give it nearly enough time to open. next time ( a couple of years) give it at least a couple of hours to open up. still - delicious. Chocolate mint on the nose -

Tasted after the 2003 Ridge 2003 Lytton, and it at first it seemed to pale before revealing itself to be a more feminie Cab. As it sat in the glass, it seemed to balance delicate fruit against a matching structure. Not the best wine, but a very good one.

Pop & pour at dinner (Paul's birthday @ Silverado). Nose was red fruit, menthol/eucalyptus. Tannins resolved, nice core of easy drinking cab. Not a ton of structure, but a nice finish. The favorite at the table by far, thoroughly enjoyed. I would drink up, as I don't see it getting better, but it is not going anywhere. I'll be looking for more as this was wonderful.

Eucalyptus, herby. Pretty dry. Needs some cellar time.
