Suncé Meritage Winemaker's Reserve Franicevic Series

You have to get past the nose. Nose of barnyard, funk, over plum and cassis. Might improve with aeration. Full body, long finish, complex. Vanilla, oak, chocolate, balanced with acidity and soft tannins. Would rate higher but for the slightly off putting nose. Color starting to show orange with age. Sunce wines have been hit or miss, mostly miss unfortunately, but this was a hit.
