Domaine de la Verpaille Viré-Clessé Harmonie

Kinda rounded and honey suckle Vire Clesse. I like others more but this still fits and works at $30 or so.

Colour: med gold, bright, clear. Nose: reticent, fresh and ripe, taut compared to most V Cs, floral rather than apple Taste: med body, rounded, ripe and dense, baked apple, long finish, dry, dense, baked apple. Overall, this is not your v obvious V C, all upfront but rather restrained and the better for it. Still young.

Light golden color. Reticent nose at first that eventually opens showing coconut and vanilla cream. Very soft entry with round, unctuous mouthfeel and a bit of ripe melon. A touch of bitterness in the finish. If this wine has a fault, is its lack of acidity. All stainless steel fermentation and storage.
