I agree with most of the reviewers on here. This is a big boy, no prisoners, suck on the oak barrel sort of wine. Hitting its stride with cocoa and coffee this still has truckloads of fruit to offset the truckloads of everything else in there. I struggle to dislike it, but can't quite like it either. There was an English comedy set in Liverpool where the characters kept on saying "calm down, calm down". Good advice, methinks.

Oak starting to ease a bit, especially after decanting. Found it to have too much chewy juicy fruit that is out of balance with acidity and tannins. Fruit is bright red berries, also a hint of cough syrup. There are many better efforts from Spain in this price range.

bäh..... still nothing more than wood, wood, wood and very much alcohol, extremly fullbodied, but....... far too much of everything, what about complexity? an undeveloped newworldwinemonster from Spain........ whoever likes this style may score more......

Notes of cocoa, chocolate, espresso. A bit too much oak. Very new world.

Decanter Fine Wine Encounter (Landmark Hotel, London) : Closed nose but palate has some blackcurrant. Slightly tannic finish.

Don't drink! Wait. This puppy is asleep and took 3 days to show it's stuff (gassed and fridged in between tastings). After it opens, it has subtle blueberry and kiwi fruit, followed by cola, cinnamon, soft supple tannins and a long finish. I'll wait 5 years before I open another.
