Tangy and effervescent. Fruit not bad, but probably cooked at some point.

Fantastic new world style Grenache. Very floral on the nose and mid palate. I used to pay $18 for this wine at Costco but I guess those days are over. At $30 I would think twice about buying more than 2 bottles but at $20-25 I would not hesitate to pick up a six-pack or even a case.

I enjoyed the first few bottles of this much more than my last bottle tonight. Good balance and pairs well with roasted chicken. Drink up as I think this has probably seen better days.

Floral strawberry, light cherry notes. Not terribly complex and a bit light for my taste. Not what I expected from a granache. Drink now as its done. A bit of a disappointment at this price point.

Dark ruby in the glass with a nose of cherries with some black berries and raspberries with a tad of rose petals. A bit hot on the palate, where I am getting some jammy black cherries, some cassis, and black licorice. Not that tannic at all and is ready to drink and gets a bit more livelier after 20 mins. A very good valued Cali Grenache.

Dark and rich in color, fairly full bodied. Rich red fruit on the nose with a hint of gamey meatiness. Big red fruit on attack flecked with spice, a little vanilla, and a tiny herbal note that dissipates as it airs in the glass. The mid-palate is not very full though and the middle feels a little thinner than it should, though a good acidity keeps it lively. Light tannins and very light oak. Finish is fairly short but stays …

90% Grenache and 10% Syrah. Deep ruby color. Cherry nose. Spritzy. Secondary fermentation. Alcoholic mess. Absolutely undrinkable.

Nose is bright fruit, with mid palate smooth and finish lacking a tad. Enjoyable for a lazy Satuday evening

Somewhat strange taste, as if a bit carbonated. Simple, straightforward taste. Clearly overpriced at $21.

A Grenache blend that rivals the best Australian Grenache. Rich, with deep extraction, with lots of oaky vanilla notes, firm tannins, and a great finish.

Bought on family name reputation. Has a lot of good things going on, just seemed a little thin - on the nose, on the palate, on the finish. Full of bright red fruit - red raspberry, cherry - and hints of some anise and other herbs. Will wait another few months before trying next bottle.
