Deep dark fruit flavors, lots of plum. A wonderful nose. Paired excellent with rib steak and French Onion Soup.

On it's way out. Little tannins or fruit left.

Initially a tannic beast, so 90 minute decant. 58F. Rich, deep ruby color. Dark chocolate, blackberry, violets, vanilla and smoke on the nose. Oak, tannins (which softened with the decant) and acidity are all very present, but should integrate well over the next few years. Medium++ body. Alcohol already well integrated. Lovely black currant fruit on the palate, dried oak, pleasantly bitter cocoa and black cherry on the palate. Long drying tart cherry finish. Showing better at a young age …

Reminds me more of a zinfandel than a cab. Peppery nose with some alcohol. Stewed fruits, spices, and black pepper on the palate. Extracted. On par with most of Nakedw Wines offerings.

Not overpowering but had all the makings of a high end cab. So complex. A real steal for $22.

Heavy bodied, hint of herbs on the nose, not too sweet. Well rounded with a little bite at the end, but not too much.

Tuesday night family blind red tasting : 14.5% abv. Was blinded on this by my brother (who lives in Sacramento). Ripe and plummy on the nose, with some alcohol burn. On the palate, hit immediately with very ripe, primary fruit and a lot of sweetness. Was pretty flabby as well, with little acidity to lift it up. No overt oak, thankfully. I was absolutely sure this was from one of the Sierra Foothills appellations, as I know my brother likes …

88-90: That 88 is for drinking today - this wine is so young now. Decanted 1+hr and it had very little give. Thick, thick fruit tannins and a nice acidity made the wine pretty dense, but as hour 2 came around, it gave a little and started hinting at some really wonderful smoky blueberry notes. All that said, I'd describe the wine as more medium bodied than full bodied. It's incredibly lithe, and while it's too ripe to confuse for …

This is an outstanding Cab, and a ripe bargain at $18. It's accessible from the first sips after just a few minutes in the air, and decanter time brings out layers of goodness. It pours a glowing plummy red thick with body. Red fruits are more dominant in the nose, especially early on when acidic brightness draws you in. Blackberry, cocoa, mild spice, and cassis shoulder in with time. Later, there's chocolate malt, mediterranean forest, and finally a note of …

It is young, but after decanting is quite drinkable. Balanced, fruit forward, traditional Napa Cab. I had 7 so I had to try one early. Definitely excited to see how this changes over the next few years, but was surprised how well this drank after 3 hours.

More than likely drank this bottle received as a gift too young. This is a Napa Cab @ 14.5% alcohol. May not be built for aging but does drink quite well without food at this young age. There is lots of good fruit with a bit of tannin bite. Quite nice. Wish I had others to hold and drink over time to see the aging impacts.

Similar to my experience a few weeks ago with this producer's 2014 version. Fruit driven, balanced tannin and acidity. A decant and food seem to compliment the fruit driven profile. Young and primary and probably should be consumed by 2020.

Good color, some fading. The nose shows aromas of dried red fruits, oak, cedar and a hint of minerals. This is medium bodied on the palate with decent concentration and decent class. Tired. The medium length finish features slightly rustic tannins.

I liked this more than I thought I would -- very smooth but little depth. Going to try again in a few months and see if it opens up as it ages.

Pop and pour from the cellar. Clear ruby in the glass. On the nose I got mostly cedar and white pepper, not fruit. On the palate, strong, astringent tannins, medium+ acid, medium- fruit (blackberry). I think this will be nice, but it needs some more bottle age - it seemed a bit out of balance right now. Let yours rest another year so the tannins can soften. Not unenjoyable by any means - we enjoyed it - but not at …

Wow they are not kidding when they note that it is smooth and goes down a bit too easy (after some breathing time). I opened it this afternoon and it was very overwhelmingly alcohol scented, so I put the cork back on and left it alone for 3 hours. The second time around, I got some cherry on the nose as well as some cinnamon, and maybe chocolate and cloves/spices. I would agree with Matt that it tastes like it …
