Hermes Vineyards Syrah

Ohio Wine and Grape Conference 2009 (Wooster, Ohio) : Started out very soft and flat, but sprang to life almost instantly. Nice fruit with a jam edge. A citrus (bergamot?) element. Fleshy structure. Nice personality emerges.
