Farr Rising Chardonnay

Moncur Cellars Chardonnay Tasting Event (Bistro Moncur) : A soft nose, oak, struck match, peach. The body is medium leaning heavy, acidity bright and bubbly, finish is long. Peach, oak, vanilla. It's nice and easy but not that complex. My partner liked, noted that it was well balanced and fruity.

Moncur Cellars Chardonnay (Bistro Moncur, Sydney) : Ashy whole bunch (Wah?!?) and bonfire notes detract from the peachy fruit and a little sweet spice, savoury underpin. On the palate its green and bitter. Ugh.
