Abbia Nova Cesanese del Piglio

Very interesting, never tasted anything like this. Spices up front with some red berry and cherry fruit in the background. Acidity quite present but not aggressive in my opinion. Fruit is not ripe or sweet at all in taste. Opened up more with time. Had never heard of the grape Cesanese before. Small production. Would drink again for sure, but not for those who like their wines on the clearly „pleasing“ side, more for freaks.

Fresh, vibrant, red fruit and a touch of herbaceousness. Great pizza wine but a little too one note to enjoy as much on its own.

Beau vin different, toutefois manque de fruit cruellement, pourrait etre excellent si ce n’était que de cela. Courte note

Small appellation of an indigenous varietal close to Rome. Not very fruity, dominated by herbaceous secondary notes. Low to medium tannins. Different, but quite enjoyable and drinking well now.
