Singlefile Estate Chardonnay

Lovely rich and complex Chardy with nice oak integration. Very classy.

Nose a little reticent at first, but opened up as it warmed in the glass. This wine is tight with a lovely acid freshness, citrus and creamy oak in perfect balance. Very classy wine with a good future.

Six nations tasting (pyrmont wharf, sydney) : wild ferment funkiness under stone fruit and citrus…juicy, tangy, citrus butter and silky. Okay, perhaps a little out of balance at the moment.

One up on the standard Chardonnay from Singlefile which is already first class. Great with a meal, setting the ambience for friends and ideal for proposals, romantic or business. An absolute pleasure to consume for lovers of Oaked Chardonnay.

Absolutely delightful Chardonnay from the first time I savoured this vino. Even the bottle spells quality. Who says you can't judge a book from its cover. This winemaker deserves all the positive press it has earned.
