It didn’t get much time to breathe and as is the case with a number of 2019 Cabernets, it was pretty tight and inhibited. I found it to be just OK. It’s probably not fair to give it a point score, so I won’t.

(2019 vintage; drank March 2025) PnP for my wife’s birthday. An absolute bomb of a wine even with no decant time. See previous review for specific tasting notes— only thing to add here is no decant time really needed. This wine is READY.

(2019 vintage, drank August 2024) Quick double decant and slow ox for 1 hour. This was phenomenal from start to finish. The best QPR in Napa, hands down. I can’t believe this is so expressive and so well put together after having been bottled just a few months ago. Translucent magenta cherry on the rim with a black cherry in the middle of the glass.
