Bink Wines Syrah Hawks Butte Vineyard

A very different style of syrah, at least for me. Inky color with intense dark fruit and earthy barnyard notes. Nice finish.

The color is an earthy purple with just a bit of cloudiness. The nose starts off with dark berries, dried leaves and a distinct note of red meat. With air, the wine developed a lovely crushed red cherry aroma. On the palate, the tannins have smoothed out with time, but are still present for structure.
