Gorgeous. Perfectly balanced, with big shoulders - this is clearly a powerful wine - but it has a grace and gentleness only time in the cellar can bring. The lineup of fruit changes in the glass as it breathes, but always leaving you with a long finish and just a hint of dust.

This was an oaky mess. I tried. Sat on it for years, drank it over three nights. It never got better. Just an over-cooked oak sandwich.

Pleasantly surprising, and a nice qpr. Notes of blackberry, black currant, and black pepper coalesce throughout, with a tannic bite emerging late and lingering on the medium-long finish. Tasty now, and should improve further over the next few years.

I like it just as much as the bottles I drank last year. Maybe even more. This time I get eucalyptus on the nose (as well as the dark fruits and black licorice). I have one remaining bottle of the ‘19. It won’t be here for long.

Great QPR! Predominately cabernet blend with Merlot and Syrah. One of the nicest blends I've had in some time. Great balance. Poured through the aerator and waited an hour while I picked up a kale, carmelized onion, potato, bacon and blue cheese pizza. The pizza was stunning so wasn't sure whether this was really as good as I thought or just a nice pairing. Two days later the wine is just as nice if not better than day one. Purchased …

Gorgeous! Lush and beautiful, velvet draped on a huge structure.

Decent for the price. Paid $52.00 for the magnum and served for Thanksgiving dinner. Decant for 4 hours. Was thin and sour on open but calmed down after decant. Still young. Will get better. The Romeo offering is still my favorite from this vineyard.

A slick, blackberry coated cocoa concoction (blend), dense and opaque that sings in harmony with a perfect balance of fruit/tannin/acidity. It’s good, very good. But, I wonder if still too young. It hits all of the marks, but perhaps lacks a little complexity, but a really good wine with a lot left to show, but over time. Hold for a few more years.

Same notes as May 2022. Subtle difference in tannins. More integrated, rounded, and softer. Nicely done!

Wonderful nose of dark fruits and licorice Almost a sweetness. Medium to full bodied with blackberries and blueberries. Peppery tannins. Long finish. This wine is as good or better than wines that cost 2 or 3 times as much. It might gain some complexity with time in the cellar - but why wait. It is great now.

Wonderfully Aromatic. Inky dark red in the glass. Refreshing and lively. Acidity on the backend finish followed by a little heat. Tannins are still a little tight but this is going to age well and will be rewarding for those who have it in their cellar. Medium+ finish.
