A 1959 Horizontal Across Champagne, Burgundy and Bordeaux (Le Cinq Restaurant, George Cinq Four Seasons, Paris) : Earthy, mature, animal and licorice flavors. Complex nose.

Same bottle as Salil's note, I thought this was oxidized but certainly it could have been corked also, or instead. Regardless, a shame. Still some Richebourgness present, though, rich and salty, and probably would have been great with a bottle in good condition.

Olea (New Haven, CT) : Think this was slightly corked. Some red fruit and mature leathery and earthy notes apparent, but also a faint wet cardboard/newspaper-y note that never blew off. Such a shame.
