Quite the positive surprise: Picked this wine up, I think at Trader Joe's, a couple of weeks back. It is a fine, delicate German riesling. In the nose quite some vanilla, strawberries and pineapple. The typical 2010 acidity is beautifully balanced in this QbA and makes for an interesting mix. Does not have the depth of a spaetlese or higher, but a good drinking wine. At 10% vol. it is slightly off-dry, with tons of fruit. Finish a bit flat. …
