Ballot-Millot & Fils Meursault

Light cream/nuttiness transitions to beautiful citric finish with persistence. With better stuffing this would be memorable - likely need to work my way up to the 1er$. But in all fairness it was perfect with the sole, creamed potatoes, and sautéed mushrooms.

A must buy Meursault if you ask me. Citrus fruit with cold butter and almonds. Hints of tropical fruits as well. Medium intensity and length on the palate. 92-93p.

Bright lemon. Initial butter on the nose followed by delicate tropical fruit with pineapple, passion fruit and melon. As the wine war in the glass the fruit lessened and was overtaken by hazelnut and hay notes. The palate was much the same. Wonderfully balanced, a true joy to drink. An aftertaste that lingered. Chardonnay at its very best
