Le Franzine Curtefranca

Deep ruby, almost opaque, light on the nose, heavy on the tongue. Has a real texture to it, but doesn't linger too long. Hints of balsamico, although from the wrong region obviously. Further discernment is difficult, lacking too much interest. There are better cabernet francs to be had in the Veneto, but this is a solid choice worth drinking again.
