This was magnificent. Super well balanced and the acid made it a lovely food wine. Dark fruit and some earth. Well made.

Deep ruby in color with an intense sweaty saddle and violet aroma at first pour. Swirling some oxygen into the glass opened the nose a great deal and revealed blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, marjoram and bell pepper with hints of chocolate and cigar box. More earthy than fruity on the palate, which evolved into the opposite with time in the glass. Medium body; medium+ tannins and medium acidity balance well with the alcohol for a medium+ finish.
