Yummmm. Everything was firing on this bad boy - loads of flavor and tannins that go on for days. Well balanced, so many fruit flavors and layers. Top notch. Too bad the winery burned down.

Shows much better than 6 months ago, but still a poor p/q. Opaque, dark purple. Blackberries, bitter chocolate dominate nose and palate. Tannins are still prominent and youthful.

Not what I had expected. I had heard good things about their Jacquelynne Cuvee, so their Estate Reserve must be better, right? Not this time. Dark fruits and cocoa, but a definite sharp or maybe even a bitter edge in midpalate. Tannins don't seem well integrated, although it is young. Chalk this one up to a learning experience.
