Day 1: I got this for a ridiculously low price. Showed very similar to an example a month ago. Dark garnet. All prunes and camphor as it opened. Deep and hard as nails still. Dark and tarry, coffee, molasses, sweet herb, pancake batter with some subtle dry floral and earth notes. A big, rich powerful Pommard. Decent acid. Roses and cherry nose; tight, red fruit palate with tannin and grip, needs 7 to 8 years; medium finish 92+ pts.

Deep red. Started out almost pruney but after an hour the aromatics grew fresher to reveal nice belack fruit, spice and strong earth notes. Powerful and chewy in the mouth with lots of structure and fruit. Has substantial tannins to shed but the fruit should hold on. Don't go near this for 10 years. Very Pommard.
