Medium bodied merlot. Nose a little subdued and closed initially and opened up nicely after half an hour. On palate, plums, cherries - mellow and easy with soft tannins. Medium ling finish with some tobacco. Nice

Closed nose: vaguely smokey and meaty, with indistinct dark fruit. Tight palate, not giving up much flavour. Light-to-medium bodied, with pointed acidity, smooth tannins, and a hint of astringency. Structure builds nicely in the glass over time. Flavours of blackcurrant, mint, and cocoa.
