Field Stone Syrah Marion's Block

Popped and poured, consumed over 3 hours. Medium weight with decent length. Rich, dark cherry & berry fruit on the nose, with a slightly inky note. Tighter on the palate and a bit darker, although the fruit still dominates. Still primary, not currently showing much of the peppery/meaty character I like in syrah. Tasty and well made, although I'd recommend giving it time to integrate and develop. Has the stuffing to improve.
