Very good wine with a sappy fruit profile of plums and dark berries. This wine improved over two days so I would hold for three years but great herbs, minerals, and ample acidity.

Popped and poured, consumed over 2+ hours. First wine from Corsica I can remember having. Light nose of brambly fruit, sandalwood and Asian spices. Taste brings juicy deep red fruits up front with silky tannins up the rear. Not deep or complex but definitely balanced.

Beautiful acid, but still manages to come across with darker fruits. Very dry and balanced, especially the second day.

Corsican wines and Sausage : 90% Niellucciu and 10% Grenache. At this point, it needs more time than the Morta Maio. Lot of fruits, you can feel the potential is here but it will blossom in 4-6 years. Dark cherry with a very velvety texture. Some herbs with a nice mix of red/ dark fruits. Overall, less acidity and a little darker profile than the Morta Maio. Very good as well.

Dark, cranberry/cherry, violet and black pepper. Bit of earth. Crisp finish. Very good.

Dark red/purple. Smoky nose. Dry, noticable tannins. Good balance. I think this has some grenache in it, but I'm not tasting the cherry-ness of a grenache. Much drier taste. A good drink.
