Still holding up well !! Near peak !! The cork was a dry and broke after over a decade in the bottle, but I managed to get it out cleanly. This balanced Pinot Noir was consumed over two days. Ruby color with minor oxidation, clarity good. Aromas of red raspberry and pomegranate, flavors of red fruit compote, rhubarb with a hint of forest floor and a medium finish. This wine benefited from gentle oxygen since it was much more soft …

Still tasting pretty good right now !! The cork was a little dry after over a decade in the bottle, it cracked but I removed it cleanly. This balanced Pinot Noir was consumed over two days. Deep ruby color with no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of red raspberry and pomegranate, flavors of red fruit compote, rhubarb with a hint of forest floor and a medium finish. Popped and poured, but this wine benefited from gentle oxygen since it was much …

Bramble, brush overtones with black & red cherry. Light to medium body, decent value.

This has improved a lot sine the last tasting. There's more of a Burgundian nose and the palate is better structured. I'll see what it's like in another year!

black cherry / other black fruit in front, moving into an earthy middle with some spices towards the finish. nice acidity makes this a winner for me

I got that initial fizzy feeling on the tongue with first sip again. Then, it was fruit, fruit, fruit on the palate. Not much on the nose. Not quite my style for a Pinot.

Last bottle I didn't like. Decided not to wait any longer with my last bottle. I like this much more than the last time I drank it. Rich ripe cherry on the nose with a dash of strawberry. Cherry, cola, and a touch of strawberry on the palate. Smooth, fresh, medium mouthfeel. Just enough acid to taste fresh and juicy, but not to seem too young and exuberant. I'm happy this bottle was better than the last. I'd buy more …

Black cherry on the nose. Concentrated black cherry on the palate with underlying smoky tones. Excellent structure and length. Good a couple of years ago and better now.

A nice RRV Pinot -- light cherry, hints of earthiness & tea. Very drinkable & food friendly. Not a lot of structure, however, and I'm not sure it'll last until 2018. Drink sooner, rather than later.

Cherry, pomegranate, dates, black tea leaves, gentle oak, medium body, medium acid. This was very enjoyable and food friendly (far more so than the Goldeneye we put along side it). Really nice texture too.

Clearly not one of my favorites. Too spicy or two much bell peppers. Better the second night, but still, nothing memorable.

Very nice pinot. Enjoyed very much indeed with a succession of finger foods, including small profiteroles stuffed with blue cheese and a fresh grape and spanikopita triangles

- Purple color with medium forming legs and aromas of raspberry. It's unbalanced and has flavours of raspberry and black pepper with a light/medium body. Angular texture with a medium finish - Not usually disappointed in this one...

Smells like barnyard. Not a lot else going on right now. Taste is muddled. Started out fresh and bright, now tastes like cherrys that have been left out too long. Hard to tell if this bottle is showing early signs of problems or if the wine is simply too young. Good thing the other bottle is laid down to rest a few years. This one will surely evolve.

Very disappointed. Aggressive Brett & scorch smell & taste. As Portfolio members, we'll exchange it out. But still sad. Glad we didn't have guests over.

Nice cherry, cola, and spice on the nose. In the mouth, great fruit expression of cranberry and cherry cola. Nice balance and more of a cabernet lovers pinot.

Pretty good for $25. Ripe and edgy but not over the top. Good spice elements and overall a nice structure from start to finish.
