Consistent with previous two bottles. After a reasonably positive attack this falls away in the middle. All a bit flabby, lacking precision and focus, a touch of alcohol giving a slightly unbalanced finish. Otherwise fine! OK as a single glass with food but zero inclination to drink much much more. **

Mid straw. Green pepepr to the nose and palate along with something a little tropical. Quite lush and ripe with a touch of the vintage character. Lacks a bit of zip and precission. Good food wine. **1/2

Decanted. Typical GV nose of green pepper. Quite lush on the palate consistent with smaragd ripeness, but also a little flabby and lacking some definition, probably a reflection of the vintage. Recognisably GV but quite round and creamy in the middle, lacking precission and complexity on the finish. A couple of glasses left in the open decanter overnight didn't show obvious deterioration. **1/2
