Perhaps not a fair rating because I only gave it a 45 minute to can't but it was very bitter with not a lot of taste almost watered down. I couldn't drink it so left it at the host house and told him to keep it in the decanter for 4 hours and try it again. Dark muted fruit, smoky leather (tiny hint of Brett). Long finish. Fine tannins balanced with a bit of acid.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #144; Bordeaux - Pessac-Léognan (By me) : Medicine, iodine, smoke and organic flavors in the bouquet. On the palate red berry acidity, some peat and tobacco. Very mature. There was a second bottle. This was very mature as well, but overall more fresh and alive with even some tannin. Nevertheless no score.

The wine is full-bodied, lively and slightly funky on the palate with flavors of fresh dark berries, sweeter black cherries, some smoky tones, a little bit …
