My last of two bottles. This was absolutely singing and is in a great spot. The fruit is nicely integrated at this point and is still a bit on the exotic side (guava, lime, citrus blossom), but the wine's minerality has really come into the fore, all tied together with an oily, savory texture that's still quite light on its feet. 2018 is the first bottling of Moldes' "As Dunas" Albarino. This reminds me of a more tropical Loire Chenin with guava, lime, lemon, white flowers, and salty minerality. The palate is medium weight with a subtly creamy (not oaky), oily texture that finishes clean with balanced, integrated acidity.
