Popped and poured. Rich black cherry aroma with a bit of funk. Sappy red fruit flavor with flowery and earthy notes. Subtle, lingering plum finish. Smooth, well integrated, firm backbone, some complexity. Unusually delicate for a barbera, but I'm not complaining.

Biodynamic farming. Spontaneous fermentation in big botti with extended maceration on the skins. Aged for 12 month in the same casks. Medium ruby color with some bricking at the rim. A mixture of both red and dark fruits hailing from fresh to dried. Lots of savory elements such as worn leather, turned soil, stable and balsamico as well as some pretty rose petal notes.
