This opened up beautifully

On the nose - big fruit. cherries and raspberries. Cigar and ash peak through at the end. On taste - deceived into thinking this would be very fruit forward based on the nose. Meaty flavor, leathery, with a constant underscore of raspberries throughout. Much more balanced in reality. Medium-to-full bodied with lots of grip and chewy tannins. Long finish. I like it. Decanted 30 minutes. Would decant longer next time.
