Albino Rocca Dolcetto d'Alba Vignalunga

An interesting Dolcetto, with a medium-depth purplish/ruby color that was very clear and free of sediment. The nose was moderate with lots of plum (almost prune) showing in the aromas. Those same hints of prune carried over to the palette, though it was well-balanced and almost sweet. A nice dinner wine.
